My Pookie,
Mamma has no special poem written for you as my heart is too sad. So, I’ll just say what’s in my heart, honey.
You were my best friend and gave me the best 14 years of my life. I can’t explain the million little special things about you to people, but those who knew you and cared for you knew that you were 1 of a kind and how much you were my pride and joy.
You wiggled your way into Daddy’s heart and oh how he loved his reading times with you. He lovingly made those kitty stairs for you for me to put at the end of the bed, so it was easier for you to jump up on the bed and have “super snuggle Saturday’s” with me. Your soft purring at night always helped me fall asleep. And, whenever I was away from you my heart missed you so much, but I would look at your picture that I would tuck away in my suitcase.
Thank you, baby, for letting me hold your soft furry body while you peacefully passed away and went to heaven. Thank you for letting me kiss you a billion times a day and tell you another billion how much I loved you. I cry to hold you one more time. Your loving spirit made me a better person and I thank you for giving me your unconditional love every day.
Mamma, Daddy, Laura and Caleb love you dearly, Pookie! Thank you for being the best kitty cat in the whole world!
