It’s been over a year since you passed and we still wait for you to walk to us, in the kitchen, in the basement, outside on the deck, begging at the car to go for a ride, sitting patiently for a chance of some scrap to fall from the table. Laying at the end of the bed, covered in sheets snoring….then perking up for breakfast. We miss you so much, when we think about you….we smile, we laugh, and we cry. We’ll never forget you, and we’ll always love and miss you. Because you weren’t a family pet, you were family….and you’ll always be part of us.
