I believe that some animals are put on this earth so that select few Humans can learn compassion, so that we can learn what it is like to have someone to love and who loves us back no matter what, even if they can’t say it. I got Pumpkin when I was 5 years old. I still remember the day that I got her, I think it’s probably the only memory that I have of that long ago. I remember all of the good times I spent with her, and all of the sad times that she comforted me. I remember when she was hit by a car, and I went and visited her every day that she was recovering. Most of all I remember the way she looked at me with her beautiful eyes, as if to say that she loved me. I will miss you so much Pumpkin. I seriously don’t remember a time when you weren’t in my life. The pain I feel inside right now, I will never forget you or the times we spent. I love you so much.
