Rayner was one of a kind. He was never the friendliest of rabbits, but he had his own way of showing affection. I will miss hearing him scratch incessently at the bottom of his cage in the middle of the night. It will be quiet now. I will miss giving him his morning carrot. I will miss his beautiful, soft blonde coat. He died in my arms. I will probably never know why, but I know he is resting on the other side of life now.
We will miss you,
Rayner |
