While in college I decided I wanted a man’s best friend. I came upon an ad in the paper “Cute English Bulldog/Boston terrier mix.” So I called and they had one left and I went to check him out and that is where the story begins. He was a fun loving dog that loved to play with everyone and every dog. His squished nose and stocky body made him and fairly odd dog but he was my dog and I loved him. Then one day came along this beautiful girl and her two dogs. That girl and those dogs became part of our family. Rocky would not have had it any other way. He had an older dog to keep him straight and an rough dog roll around with. It was a great life! Along the way he gained some more brothers and he loved them all so much. Now he was the big dog that could keep the young ones in line now, plus he more dogs to rough house with. He loved every minute of it.
He started out a daddy’s boy but shortly realized that his mom was a beautiful and great person to cuddle with. He took care of her when she was sick and slept beside her when she lonely. He loved to sit in a lawn chair and cook out and entertained himself my chasing and chewing on coke bottles. Rocky favorite place was in the passenger seat of a beat up old 91 Jeep Wrangler next to his dad or in bed cuddle up with his mom. He loved to explore and see what the world had to offer.
He had a hole in the fence that he could get out and check out the world. That fateful night he wanted to check out everything. With his tongue out and tail wagging he ran the neighborhood. He had the time of his life. He became man/woman/dog’s best friend. He was what every dog should be and what every owner would want. He will be missed.
With Love,
