Ronnie (Ronald McDonald) showed up in our yard about 7 years ago. He was such a pretty boy — we coaxed him inside where he would sleep on our bed and hours. He always jumped down when he needed to go outside.
He filled our house with fun and joy. I could sit and watch him sleep for hours.
Since he was a mostly outdoor cat, he developed FIV…we didn’t want him to suffer, so he passed away right before a big snow storm.
Our lives are richer for having Ronnie in it. The feeling of loss is strong; but we won’t forget all the sweetness.
