ROXEE by Tom & Hilda Cannatella / GRANDPA AND GRANDMA

Today I picked up the phone knowing my daughter was at the other end but it was different I could hear it in her voice when she said “Hi MA,” and then went on to tell me You had gone to be with God. I think between us we cried a river. Roxee, my granddog there’s no other dog that can take your place. How special, how so human you were. How you would greet us at the door and never wanted us to leave. I loved playing ball with you. I remember how you would cry when you couldn’t get that squirrel in the yard, and oh the sound you’d make when the fire department siren would go off. I miss feeding you treats and loved when you licked my face, your way of saying thank you. You’ll be missed not only by your mom and dad, grandpa and grandma but all you came in contact with.

Many others loved you and will miss you too YOU are with Summer, Misty and KOKO now. Bouncing running and playing in God’s beautiful field of clover, because you are all new again. We will always keep you in our hearts and remember your unconditional love to us and to all. I ask God for peace in the hearts of your mom and dad a peace that surpasses all understanding. As we go on, your memory will never leave us for You were our GRANDDOG and we were your grandpa and grandma.

WE LOVE YOU OUR ROXIE,
ROXEE
