After 14 years of proud ownership of the best dog one could imagine, I was forced on this day (6/16/03) to put Roxy down. She had been suffering from cancer and I took action when I was sure she was in pain.
Fate had brought her to my door step all those years ago and I want to acknowledge to my friends that owning this pet greatly enriched my life. In her memory I’d like to ask all of you who have a pet to give them a special treat and a little extra love today. Also, please take a moment to meditate on the fact that there are many creatures sharing this planet and we as centinal beings are responsible for their well being.
