It seems like just yesterday I brought you home so tiny and sweet to surprise Jillian who was having such a difficult time starting a new school. She walked in and saw you waiting for her on the couch and her tiny face lit up like a Christmas tree.
She raced home every day from school to cuddle with you. You made a difficult time for her so much easier. I was so hearbroken to come home and find you had already passed on while I was at work.
I prayed that you did not feel alone. I would have cradled you in my arms if I could. We never even knew you were sick.
I hope that you are sleeping peacefully now with Nellie and that you always felt how deeply we all loved you. Our home will never be the same without you.
