Because I work at a vet clinic, I spend my days with other people’s dogs, cats, and horses. Sammy was special, not because she was MY dog, but because she was my best friend. She made me work at being the person she thought I was. Sammy, my friend, I am still working at it, and I will keep working until the day I see you again.
