Sampson, you will be very much missed. The way you always looked at everyone with those childlike eyes.
I remember the day we picked him out, he was running like a little butter ball turkey on wheels at us like he was meant for us. We picked him up and have had a bond over this past decade. The things I will miss the most is seeing him snap his teeth helplessly at Sidney when she tackled him.
Or when he would use the bathroom and do the shake and walk dance.
Or when you would be sitting there in the chair and he would come and put his head on your lap then when you got up to go to the bathroom he would steal your seat and go to sleep.
Or the way he would light up when he was around water, he loved to swim and did pretty good for a big fellow.
Sammy truly was man’s best friend. A person could find solitude in his eyes and peace Sampson was a great friend to us all in different ways. We will all have a little piece of Sammy in us. I believe sammy led a good life filled with joy, good company and great food I know he use to get a lot of over the counter scraps from me when he was inside the house.
So here’s to Sampson, we will miss you and never forget you.
Thanks for all the great years..
Thanks for the friendship
