Your Momma's little girl who came into my world,
So full of love to give to one & and all...
Your big brown eyes aglow your bark would tell me so,
Just how much you loved me everyday...
I watched you grow from a pup you'd run & you'd jump,
Then to me you'd run into my arms...
You never left my side for loyalty was your guild,
It led you to be faithful & so true...
I turned around one day you'd grown old & gray,
Where the time had flown I didn't know...
You can't run anymore like you did once before,
To greet me everyday when I come home...
I think with each day how much longer can you stay,
Will he give me just awhile longer...
But deep inside I knew one day he'd come for you,
No longer by my side with me you'd be...
On that fateful morn my heart was broke & torn,
When he said it's time she has to go...
Don't cry anymore she'll be at the gate not the door,
Waiting patiently for you to come on home...
But to me she'll always be & for all the world to see
That she's ~Momma's Little Girl~...
I Love & Miss You Baby Girl with all my heart.
Even tho it's been nearly 4 years now
it still hurts like it was yesterday.
