Sassy

When you first came to our home you were a very friendly stray kitten, probably lived in someone else’s house for a while before being turned out.  You quickly adapted to our 4 other cats and played with all of them until one or another got too rough and you’d hiss at them, thus we named you Sassy.  Over your 15 years, you saw all 4 of your friends age and sadly leave our home as all do.  When we brought 3 more stray kittens inside, you became the queen of the house, and made sure none of the new additions would be allowed near you.  When they got too close, a quick hiss and slap would bring the offenders back in line.  You would always make sure my lap was free of cats, then you would lay on me, purr and firmly bump your nose on mine to get attention before settling for a nap.

Sadly a stroke suddenly took you from me.  Now you live with Momma and your other friends.  Please stay close to her and give her the love and attention you once gave to me until I can join all of you at the Rainbow Bridge.
