You taught us so much in the 14 years you were with us. You were the passive, but strong one, never demanding. Your quiet strength and loving ways are your legacy. When Brownie was sick, and later, blind, you helped to take care of her, nudging her out of harm’s way in the yard.
We miss you so much, Shaddy. You were always there for me….so healthy….so brave. The house is not the same without you. By now, you have hopefully found Brownie and Pepper at Pop James’s grill.
You passed away on the birthday of a premature baby who didn’t make it. Her mother told me she thought God might have called you to be a birthday present for her precious little one, on what would have been her first birthday. I hope God is using you to help others. You are so good at that, sweet girl, and we can’t wait to see you again.
