In My Arms
Lying in my arms hopeless and weak trying
to hold on just a little bit longer you are
fading fast, and almost gone so I tell you
softly I love you and that it is o.k.
Then you look at me, and in your eyes I can
here you say “you did the right thing.” And
in my eyes I am saying to you “I love you.”
Tears are falling, and you are fading softly
away. In my arms there you lay about to go
to another place. then you go, and I cry to
myself, saying to you “good bye.” Then you
drift away into the big beautiful sky.
You will always be in my heart
