Good-bye, Little Boy.
The sun is shining over there
unclouded by my tears.
You followed in my path of life
for more than 16 years.
Now I must stop outside this gate
and watch as you walk through.
Don’t turn to look, then see my pain.
An angel waits for you.
So lie there in his arms and dream
about the life you knew
And meet me back here at this gate
when I can walk on through.
I won’t forget your precious life
and how you brought such joy.
