You came to me at a time when
I needed you most and showed me
how it was to be carefee again.
You showed me I could love a cat
once again and that I could make
it through anything.
You slept by my side
when I was afraid of everything.
You were always there. You loved everyone.
I hope you forgive me for everything.
I tried to do the right things for you,
and be the best owner I could be.
I am so sorry I let you down, Simon.
But you will not go in vain…
I plan on education other animal lovers
about feline leukemia.
My parents are lost without you.
You brought so much happiness
into our house, you have no idea.
Even Pappy, who lovingly called you “Psycho,”
is heart-broken that you are gone.
We try to remember you are in a better place,
with Poncho and Bubba, but we miss you so much…
