JAKE came to us as an eight week old puppy. Part of Jake’s journey included being my husband’s best friend and constant companion in our Peterbilt traveling throughout the US. Jake’s buddy at home in the early years was a red doberman named TARA. When Jake retired from trucking he along with Tara, became my constant companions. In the following years he was comfortable being the family pet and guardian of his home. During this time Jake lost his buddy Tara, who lost her battle to liver failure. To help Jake recover from his loss, along came CHYNA, a black and rust doberman, who would not leave his side. As always with class; Jake aged with perfection to the age of 13. Our hearts are left with a large hole with the loss of Jake but, knowing he has gone and crossed the rainbow bridge to meet Tara and continue their journey together(until we meet again)has made the loss more bearable.
