Shih Tzu

Skittles I have wrote so many letters to You.

I have kept a diary since you left me. The whole family misses you.

They were scared to say your name for so long after you left.

I guess they new it has always brought tears to my eyes.

I want them to tell everyone just how wonderful you were.

You did a service when I had you sent to the University of Georgia

after you left. It helped students learn and Vets not to make

the same mistakes they did with you.

I have done so much research since you left I know you could have

been saved if only they had caught this disease in time.

To all it is called CME.

When in doubt please listen to your own heart.

I knew there was something bad wrong with Skittles.

The vet thought it was a tooth and ear infection.

After 5 days you had went blind in one eye and having seizures.

You couldn’t walk anymore all you knew was my touch.

I felt so helpless I know mistakes are made every day.

I just wish it had not been with you. I’m talking a lot about

your disease now.

I have found a wonderful vet since you left me.

She has helped me see it wasn’t my fault. And has assured me that

if anything goes wrong with your parents or brother that she can’t

handle she will send them on to a specialist.

You were always so giving in your short life that you kept

giving after your death. I knew you would want this baby.

All of us miss you and the family is finally talking about you again.

You were my baby and there little brother.

We all love and miss you very much.

Thank You for all the joy and happiness you brought to each of us.

I’m sure the university would say thank you also for such

a gift to learn more.

You were and are a special breed.

With all our love always.

Gone but never out of our hearts.

Thank you for the love you gave.

From all of us who knew and loved you so.

Momma Daddy Charles Kari,

Billy and Robert.
