I am writing today not because I lost a pet and friend
but because my best friend did.
I have never had a pet so I don’t know just how much it hurts
to lose one. But I can see how very much friend is hurting
and I just wish there was something I could do to help.
So I decided to pay tribute to his cat Slugworth
for him to show him just how sorry I am and
how much I love him.
I have only known my friend three months
but in that time we have shared a lot.
One thing was his cat Slugworth which was more
like a dog than any cat I have ever seen.
He had a shiny black coat and mesmerizing eyes.
He was always wanting to play and he had the
vertical of your average NBA basketball player.
He use to play chase and fetch and was one
of the most amazing animals to watch.
My friend lost a great friend when Slugworth died.
I just want him to know how very sorry I am
and I that I am here for him if he needs me.
