On Feburary 24th 2003 I got home from school and went to feed my rabbit, Specks, as normal. Before I could get out the door my mum hugged me and said she was sorry. I didn’t understand what she was sorry for? I got outside and I saw Specks lying in his hutch a sharp pain hit me and it felt like somebody had ripped out my heart and
tore it to pieces my beloved rabbit!
I cried for at least a week. I couldn’t face to go to school for 2 days. I didn’t understand my baby only 5 years old I did everything he needed why did he have to go? I think about him everyday and hope he R.I.P. Wait for me at the gates, Specks.
