Sunny Bear by Deb R. and Jim H. / Debby (and Jimmy)

To the bestest rescued doggie ever, our sweet “special needs” child, beloved Sunny Bear. Through all the difficulties with allergies and paw-swellings, and even through the cancer and chemo, you never complained, not even once — what a brave and gallant doggie!!

I taught you how to bark, and to swim, and that sticks are for fetching and chewing, and *NOT* for beating the dog…. and you responded always with love and enthusiasm. How we loved (and love) you!! I hope you forgive us for not being able to bury you alone, dear…. we ran out of money (spent it on chemo that didn’t work, and felt really guilty for having put you through the pain). But please know that you will live *always* in our hearts (each time we see a cloud, we think you are up there, enjoying some cheese), and your Dad and I miss you each and every day, as do Grama and Grampa Hamilton… lots and lots. Our pack is not complete without you, and we are trying to cope. But we miss our Sunny Bear, and probably always will. Please know that we love you more than words can say.
