Sunny you left us so soon. When dad told me the news I felt my heart sink, and I could not pick it up. I screamed and wanted to run away. But then something AMAZING happened my wish came true, and I believe you made it come true. For my boyfriend to like me ;} Daddy is sorry for everything he said to you, and he actually cried. Forever will I be grateful for what you gave me, you taught me to have a light for hope, and dream to live on, and that God provides comfort for the tears. Sunny we don’t know who did this to you but whoever it was will get the wrath. Go play in the fields, and stay by God. I still feel your wet nose, your rough tongue, and your silky body rubbing up against me. Forever will I miss you. I still can hear your patter of feet on the deck, and whenever Daddy is pulling out of the garage, we still check to see if you are behind us.
Thank-you, and I love and miss you so much! The night you passed away, while I was half sleeping I was going to bed I knew it was the last time I would ever see you. So I reached over and kissed you good-night and said “Goodnight Sunny, I love you.” And so I say goodnight my dearest sunny I love you. That was the best way for me to let go of you. Now I wish I could have held you close
until the second you passed.
I love you Sunny. Tell EVERYONE in heaven I said hi and I love them, because I know it won’t be long until I am there myself. Every raindrop is proof there is holes in the floor of heaven. Every tear I cry is a happy tear and a sad tear combined together.
“If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane I’d Walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.”
“If I had a single flower for every time I for every time I think about you. I could walk forever in my garden.”
When a furchild dies, a cloud turns into an angel and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow. A bird gives the message back to the world and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. Our furchildren may disappear from our lives, but they never really go away. Their spirits put the sun to bed, wake up the grass, and spin the earth in dizzy circles.
Sometimes you can see the Rainbow Angels dancing in a cloud during the daytime when they’re supposed to be napping. They paint the rainbows and the sunsets. They tug at the tide and make the waves splash. They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing windsongs, they whisper to us,
“Don’t miss me too much. The view is nice,
and I’m doing just fine.”
