Tabitha when you came to our family
you were a year old already.
A beautiful black kitty with just a touch of white fur
under your chin and belly.
You became quickly my friend and companion.
I am so very sorry that I had to make the decision
to let you move on to heaven
but I just could not let you suffer any longer.
We had been to the vet several times this past month and
I knew this time was different.
The vet told me about the tumor in your lung .
Your quality of life would be poor if you made it thru the surgery .
But still I hoped it was not true!!!
You were always so good at sensing my feeling and I yours.
When I asked if you wanted me to let you go and you winked at me
I knew it was time.
I want you to know I stayed with you
until you were safe in the arms of heaven .
I will never forget you .
I am sure you will be near me throughout my life and
we will be together again when I come home to heaven too.
