Tara the day I fell in love with your mummy was the day that I also fell in love with you. A huge gentle giant, and everybody you met were touched by you in a way that is hard to explain. Your incredible sense of humour and your sensitivity were more human than most humans I have met. You coped with your terrible illness in a way that made me feel both incredibly proud and incredibly humble, and at no point did your immense character change in any way. You were not as many would say Tara, “just a dog”, you were your mummy’s soulmate and a wonderful companion to me over a time when we all had so much going on in our lives. Thank you Tara for letting in me in, it was my absolute privilege to be known as your step daddy…I will always miss you, Tarzan. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten
