Tia,
You were our second “baby” and a much wanted and loved addition to our little family. You picked on your big “brother” Guinness from day one, but you both loved each other. A lady right from the start, you preferred not to be picked up, but would occasionally allow one of us to pat you,
if you were in the right mood!
You had a cry like a police siren, and used it to get your own way, sometimes crying for hours before one of us would get up to open a door or
put more food in your bowl.
It was this crying which led to your death, my little girl, and I will forever hold myself responsible. I should have come outside to see what was wrong, but I just thought you having one of your crying moments, and I yelled out the window
for you to be quiet.
If only I had come outside sooner than I did, you might still be with us? By the time daddy and I found you, you had already left us. Bitten by a redback spider. We could have saved you if we hadn’t been so selfish, just wanting to watch the rest of our movie…
My little girl, we have 3 cats now, Guinness, Stolli and little Bundy who you only just met before you left us. Did you think we didn’t want you because we got him?
He could never replace our lady –
nobody ever will.
I hope you are safe and happy where you are Tee, and I hope you are with our little boy Noah. Watch out for him like you did for me, and keep him safe until
we can be with both of you again.
