You were always there when I needed you
I wish I’d always been there for you too.
You were a great comfort when I was upset
And never minded that my tears made you wet.

You were so lovely to have you was great
I realise now you were my best mate.
Now that you’re gone I feel regret & guilt
I’m now like a flower that can only wilt.

I feel empty & lost without you with me
I love you so much & miss you terribly.
Hopefully I will see you again when I’ve died
Then forever you could be there by my side.
