Tinkerbell was born August 10, 2003. She was the smallest of the litter of four. Two others had died at birth and Tinkerbell survived. Another of our cats also had a litter on August 6 and their mother had a litter July 22. We found homes for 3 of the 10 that had survived and now we have 6 kittens and 4 cats after losing Tinkerbell. Of all the kittens, Tinkerbell was the smallest and therefore got the most attention. Tinkerbell would sleep in my slipper or on my chest and loved to be petted. Unfortunately Tinkerbell took ill and died the next day as that little angel lay next to me.
For such a small kitten who gave us so much love, Tinkerbell’s life was far too short. But the memories that pretty kitten gave us in such a short time will last a lifetime in our hearts. Tinkerbell, we all love you and miss you. May you find happiness and joy over the Rainbow Bridge.
