Toby was he best dog ever I got him from my neighbor who owns a kennel and gets stray dogs and I got Toby on Christmas eve when I wasn’t allowed to have any pets but I got 1 that my mom allowed because he didn’t shed or bark or anything and he had been already trained.
I was so happy. Then I had him for 4 years he had 2 surgeries nothing serious or nasty then a few years later (Easter day) he was acting weird his eyes were gerbling all around. He couldn’t stand he fell and cried then I gave him a bath because he had his bathroomness all over him.
Then when I was drying him I noticed his ear was full of air or liquid and I thought it was an ear infection but I guess he must of had other problems with him because the next morning I woke up around 5 to get ready for school when my dad came in (Toby sleeps in my room) wakes me up and tries waking Toby up.
Every nite I sleep with a picture of my dog and then one nite me and my mom got talking and my neighbor, a dog expert, told my mom the eye gerbling was seizures and I feel so bad because I didn’t know that. Then she said he had to of been older then what the vet told us but I gave him an extra 4 yrs and alot of TLC and that he might of came into my room that night because he knew something was wrong and scrached my bed to wake me up to say good bye and thank you before he left me and that he loves me and will always be watching us all.Then I hear he died so I ran around screaming wake up to him and try to wake him up. I didn’t want to believe it but it happened.
Toby was my best friend ever he had a lot of friends such as Jeff, Toby, me his family all the veterinarians and the neighbors. I found out that when Toby was abused and traumatized that’s why he didn’t bark and liked to be as close as he could to people. Well that’s my life story about the best dog in the world. TOBY I’ll see you on the other side, little bud. I love you. Please wait for me. We all love you we’ll never forget just keep watching us please.
