(Vesta was diagnosed with Intestinal Lymphosarcoma mid-1999 and enjoyed a long remission after undergoing chemotherapy.) Although it has been only a matter of hours it seems an eternity since your struggle ended. I’m so proud of you my little doodle-girl. You lived a year longer than we were told you would and your will to live was extraordinary and moving. My arms ache to hold you again. My heart is breaking and it is so full of love for you. Thank you for your boundless love the courage in which you lived and the priceless gift of allowing me a long time to let go of you. I love you Vesta and I miss you terribly. I know we will be together again someday.
All my love
