Wally by Ed

Wally was an unusual Dog. He liked everyone he met people and other animals. Cats especially believe it or not. He loved the forest and long walks while he was able to walk and swimming. He was a smart Dog and absolutely loyal and trusting. I’ll miss him meeting me at the door every time I come home. The only time he didn’t meet me at the door he was sleeping on the sofa snoring. I could’ve cleaned the place out and he would have still been snoring.
What a guy.

Though he had life-long pain in his hips he rarely if ever made a sound. Stoic is a very appropriate term to describe his spirit. When he was younger he would run in circles when I came home at the end of the day.

Wally came from a local animal shelter as do my 2 cats. I have never had better animals than the ones someone else didn’t want. That is their loss. Wally liked ALL types of people food. His last meal was 2 cheeseburgers from McDonalds and about 20 cookies. It was the only thing he had an interest in eating at the end.

I will NEVER forget
this stoic and outstanding animal.
