Whisper was my first american champion shih tzu. She came to us after finishing her title with such confidence and arrogance, that we laughed. She always knew, no matter who came or went, that she was the queen bee of our home. She slept beside me every night of her life, got so excited when she heard the word, “treat”, that she would sometimes shake her whole body.
When company would come to visit, she would stack herself and strut like her old days of showing, to make sure they saw and complimented her, then go back to sleep as she got older. Age slowed her down, but she never lost that sparkle until the very end.
I miss her everyday, the little things. There will never be another just like her in the world.
I miss you everyday, and know you will be there when I one day am called. God bless you Whisper.
