She came into our lives one cold and dark Sunday night in November. A simple call to the Humane Society and we were on our way. They said we have a dog here that is going to be euthanized in a few days and would you like to come now , we close in a hour… Off we went.. There she was in her cage , bigger then what we wanted and a little goofy looking. They let her out and she approached us, licking my wifes face and rolling over. That was it, and before we knew it, we were driving home with her. It turned out to be the best decision that we ever made in our lives… She was a perfect angel of a dog from day one. She changed our lives!!
She helped us through many difficult times in our marriage and was always there for us. She will always be part of us and losing her is like losing part of our hearts. We will never forget her “EVER” she will always be in our hearts and memories. And someday when we cross over, she will be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge.
She will smell our scent and come running, tail wagging. She will hold her paw out to us, and tell us she loves us. We will hold her in our arms again, and give to her that favorite scratch on her head that she always loved. We will cross the Rainbow Bridge together and never will we be apart again.. We love and miss you Whitney Ann. I know your waiting for us, and not suffering anymore, we will be with you sooner then you know….
