Willie will always be in my heart and mind. She will always be with me in my travels now as she was in the car with me when she lived. For almost 19 years I was the luckiest mom ever to be blessed with such a fine friend and companion.
Things will never be the same without my Willie to sleep with, watch tv with, play with, travel with… nothing will be the same. I am scared to sing again as I know my Willie will not come running to see if I am okay. She always knew when and how to comfort me. I cannot put into words the wonderful connection I had with the best cat in the world. I miss her so much and wonder if the pain will ever go away.
I thank God for the memories and time I had with Willie and the second chance given with her when we thought she was lost. I hope she is playing and eating all the tuna she wants now. Dad says she’s bossing the other kitties around. We miss our Willie and know she is waiting to be with Mom and Dad again. Thank you, Willie, for being in our lives.
