Zorro the great,
What a wonderful beast.
That filled our home, what a treat.
He will be missed day after day.
As our home is so empty to say the least.
Will miss his greetings at the door.
Along with him always laying on the floor.
What a great guard dog was he!
Always announcing someone arriving and more.
Many times Sneaking into bed.
Zorro would lay his head on my pillow
To play master keeping Mom safe and warm.
Oh Zorro why did you have to past.
As our hearts will never understand
why you were taken so fast.
But remember your place
in our heart will always be there.
As we loved you so and losing you
just wasn’t fair.
We will never forget you!
