1985-2001
A little star joined the heavens on this day,
ten pounds or so much to our dismay.
This little one that was loved so dear,
bravely faced what us humans most fear.
The Lord blessed the two of us
at Christmas time so very long ago
when we brought him home in a box
and grew to love him so.
Now we offer a box to him,
with Stinkey’s ashes within,
Giving back that which we have loved so much,
to the one that made him who he was.
To ease his fear and end his pain,
until up in Heaven we meet again.
