Thoroughbred Horse

Della was 15.HH Bay mare.

She was quite a character she didn’t want to be caught when she was

in the field but if you enlisted some help as soon as there were two of

you she would give up it was just a game.

Della would like to bite when you put her rugs on but only if you weren’t

looking if you looked at her she would look very innocent as if

she would do anything to her beloved friend.

Della would like to gallop faster then all her friends when out but she

always was brave and made all her friends feel safe when

monsters appeared.

Friends (horses) she did have but on her terms she was quite bossy but she

always protected her friends when a new horse came into her field.

One day a new horse came to Della’s field and as usual Della rounded

her friends up out of harms way all seemed well but a few weeks went by

and the new horse had a lot to say for it’s self and it kicked Della not seriously

but it hurt and it made Della intolerant to this horse so when it threaten

in the future Della would get closer than usual so as to

put her in her place.

Then on the 12 February 2000 they had one last argument and

Della had her foot broken and other injuries which resulted in Della losing

her life as she was 26 years old it wouldn’t have been fair to put this fit old lady

through any more pain then she had already felt so

she was put to sleep.

Beautiful in life and now Della is set free to gallop around

her favourite haunts.
