Clay was a very small dog, but a very special friend. He was the cutest puppy you would of ever imagine. My friend Stacy, who is also my neighbor called me the day she got him. I couldn’t wait to get over to her house. When I was over, I saw the littlest face ever. He was scared and shaking. She went in to her room to get dressed to go get ready for school, and I was left with him in the dining room. His eyes were all wet, and it kind of looked like the little puppy was crying. I told him to not worry, and Id be his friend. Later on in that year we got to be better friends and after that we got to be the best of friends!!! We took him to the dog park, and we walked him, and I would play with him until I dropped. I saw him everyday! And loved him to! But one day I was coming home from school, and my mom didn’t look to happy. I screamed what was wrong! She had told me that my best friend got hit by a car! I was sad for days, and to this day I still cry.
We had a funeral for him in my friend’s backyard. We put flowers and all his little dog toys next to him to rest in peace with him. We did that because we knew he would like that. I will miss that little dog of mine! With his little white fur. I know that Clay doesn’t see this now, but I know that he hears me. Also, I know he is my guardian angel and will protect me each and every day. So I’m going to say something to him,: Clay, You know I love you and I miss you so very much.
I can’t be with you right now, but when god calls me up, make sure that there will be a spot for me. Make sure I’m with you buddy!
