Captured my heart on a day in December
It was simply love at first sight.
Abby with the golden eyes
Where are you now casting their light?
Has Gold placed two gold stars in heaven?
There was something new shinning last night.
Abby my wonderful tabby
I would have fought with all my might!
To keep you with me forever
But God wanted your gold for twilight.
Goodbye for awhile my orange tabby
Whose eyes hold the color of light.
Someday we'll be together in Eden
Then all in my world will be right.
For now a beautiful orange tabby named Abby
With eyes the color of gold sunlight.
Shines down on me from paradise
And is still giving me love pure and bright.
