Bandit came to us one day under our fence. We already had Duchess, a sweet greyhound and two cats so we were not really wanting to take another dog. But Bandit took our hearts.
He was a real character. He always smiled as he was stealing the cats food or getting into the garbage. He was my best freind always at my side. One day he went out the back door around the side into the gargage and stuck his head out the cat door and smiled to say HELLO.
In July he was diagnosed with cancer and it was recommend to put him down.. we said no way they had to be wrong.
We took him home and put him on a special diet and he seemed to thrive. On Oct 4 the cancer finally took him from us. I held him as he took his final breaths.
I cannot believe he is gone my, best friend.
I will always miss him.
