In Memory of Ben
Sadness fills the air today
A broken heart is nigh.
For Ben has gone to Rainbow Bridge
He had to say goodbye.
Ben gave his all while here on earth
To Sharon his best friend.
And though we know he’s at the Bridge
True friendships never end.
For while we know that physically
Sharon and Ben must part.
His memory will be alive
Forever ,,, in her heart.
A love like this has precious powers
No one dares to explain.
Just cling to memories of joy….
Time may erase the pain.
Let’s think of Ben surrounded
With his very favorite things
Relaxing in soft sunlight
Being fanned by ‘angel wings.’
