Boo, my heart is heavy now that you have gone,
and I had to make the decision what had to be done,
We were so close for 12 whole years,
and now my eyes are full of tears.
You grew stiff and sore as you grew old,
but to the end remained brave and bold,
On that last day when obviously in pain,
I knew in my heart you’d not walk again.
Goodbye to you my faithful friend,
I so glad I was with you till the end,
I’ll never forget you how had I try,
Just writing this makes me cry.
I’m feeling so very sad,
you’re best dog to be ever had.
