Boy. Yep, that was his name, well, that’s what we called him. He just showed up one day at my sisters house and never left. This was about 8 years ago. We didn’t know where he came from or who he belonged to. He was very unusual. Almost human-like. You couldn’t help but fall in love with him. He would stare up at you with those big Boy eyes and your heart would melt. And if those eyes didn’t grab you, his big wagging tail would knock you over and those wet doggie kisses would surely do the trick.
He loved the outdoors. Running through the fields and woods, jumping in the river and getting all muddy. He loved getting a bath and a hair-cut. His greatest love was his family.
We lost him today. Cancer. It’s so unfair. We know he’s in a better place, but we can’t help being a little selfish. He was one very awesome dog and we want with all of our hearts to have him back with us.
Knowing he’s in heaven with his sister Sweetie and his cousin Mercedes is somewhat of a comfort.
We’ll all see you again someday, Big Boy. Lot’s of hugs and kisses from Dad, Mom, Caleb, Grandma, Aunt(s) Sam and Robbie, Uncle(s)Kevin and Jr, cousin(s) Mike, Taylor, Christian and Oscar.
Our broken hearts will love you forever,
