Brandi was our first dog, which we rescued from a shelter. I can remember her sitting there so quiet, calm and shy. I immediately knew she was the one for me. She was the best. She was smart, sweet, well behaved and an excellent friend. She loved her walks, runs in the yard and playing tug of war.
She held her age well also. She never looked as old as she was. Brandi always meant alot to us, but we never knew how much until she got sick. My time was consumed with caring for her. She was never in pain so therfore I did what I needed to do for as long as I could. It has only been 2 weeks since our 16 year old love passed away and I feel a tremendous loss.
I did not just lose a pet, I lost my friend, and a very important part of my life. When I lost Brandi, I Lost a part of me also.
