Buffy was 10 years old when I adopted her in Nassau, Bahamas in September of 2001. It was love at first sight for both of us. People thought that I was crazy adopting such an old dog but I did not care.
I wanted Buffy to be the happiest puppy on earth and she sure was. Buffy loved airplanes and boats. She loved to roll on the sandy beaches, to chase chickens and she loved being around people and everyone she met fell in love with Buffy. Buffy was the light of my life, my child and my companion. Buffy was a little person in a dog’s body and the most exceptional creature that I have ever met. She passed away 2 months ago with IHMA and I miss her terribly but I know that she’s up in Heaven smiling down at me and protecting me.
