Scooter was a best friend and family member all in one small package. He was always there for us in good times and bad. He loved to go bye-bye anytime, anywhere and any way, even if it was just a short ride on the lawnmower with dad. He just loved going places with his family in the car, the boat, a ride on the jet ski as long as he was by our side he was happy. He was there to give kisses for any occasion, greeting you at the door or licking away tears when we were sad and sometimes for no reason at all.

He loved to go and visit the Humane Society animals at the local pet store. For such a small little man he took up more than half of our king sized bed and the majority of our pillows.

Last August it was found that he had an insulinoma and was given a short time to spend with us. He stayed another 9 months, pain free and happy we lived everyday like it would be the last, although that was not much different than any other time. He was spoiled with love on a daily basis his entire life. He had a better wardrobe than most people, and he loved his clothes. He had a bed in every room of the house, even though he was in our laps most of the time!

I left for work on mother’s day and kissed him and told him that it was my best present that he was here with me today, later that night he had a seizure while he was sleeping and never recovered. There is a big empty space in all our hearts and our home that was once filled by a tiny package of love, wec miss you so much.

With all our love,
Amy, Bob and Britany
