HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN
My Beloved Hobo, It has been almost 3 years since I had to help you to cross the Rainbow Bridge. You were my constant companion for over 18 years. You were a well traveled cat. Being a military pet meant moving every 2 or 3 years. There were many times when I fought with my ex-husband about giving you away or taking you with us back and forth across the ocean and country. To me, leaving you behind was never an option and I let him know right from the beginning
how it was going to be.
You were always understanding and comforting during a bad marriage and a few bad relationships…I know I should have taken the hint when you didn’t like the men in my life. However when I brought John home to meet you and your sister, Little Paws, you both loved him from the beginning. As you know, he took time off from work in the middle of the day to be with me when I had to take you for that last vet visit. He was also there to hold me all night when I felt empty and lonely not having you there. I decided that this man was a keeper, It was a wise choice Hobie, You will be happy to know that we are still in love. But I suspect that you know that already, cuz I feel you around me all the time.
As our birthday draws near (your third year in heaven and my 43rd on Earth), I want to wish you a happy birthday!
You were always one to rule the roost. Please try not to terrorize your sisters and brothers too much. Say a hello to them for me. I know that all of you will be waiting for me at the gates one day, and we will be together again.
