Bambi was born in july 1992. Our only daughter Holly at the age of four was diagnosed diabetic, so we promised her that we would buy her a puppy to cheer her up after she had been so brave, thats when Bambi came into our lives.
She was such a pretty puppy and almost looked the same when we lost her this year in on January 17th at the grand age of 14 and a half.
We all had so many happy times with Bambi, from wanting to play ball when Holly and her dad were to grabbing the broom when I wanted to sweep the garden nd hanging on to it for dear life!!
Bambi got told all our problems and worries although she couldn’t answer back i am sure she listened and made us feel better.
To have Bambi greet you everyday when you went out even if it was for a few minutes was so special we all realize it even more now that there is such a void when we return home.
Poor Bambi went completely blind the last few days of her life and being deaf must have been very scary for her, having to put her to sleep was one of the hardest things we have had to do, I hope Bambi realized that we were doing it for her own good and so that she could be free from any pain. we all really miss her and have shed many tears I hope she is now happy in Rainbow Bridge.
With all our love,
