Tigger,

I promised you in my last update that I would honor your memory by helping other cats who had no one to love them. I wanted you to know that I have kept that promise. Tomorrow I go to pick up Jack, a kitty who showed up at the house of a friend in subzero temperatures, shaking and hungry. She let him into her heated basement, but is allergic and cannot keep him. I knew the moment she told me about it that it was time to keep my promise. I am driving over an hour to get Jack in the morning, and I think you would like him. He was cold, hungry, and alone but still sweet and loving and FEISTY, just like you!

I hope that you won’t mind him in your old spot on the bed. I doubt you will; you always were good to other kitties in need. Jack will never replace you in my heart, but a mother’s heart always has room for one more. Smile down on your new brother. Be good, be happy, and keep waiting for me, someday I’ll be there.

All My Love,
Sherrie Miller
