On December 31, 2004 my 11 month old Corgie broke away from his collar. He was struck and killed by someone who did not have the heart to even stop and say sorry. It has only been two days. It was as if they hit a piece of trash and kept going. Me and my 7 and 4 year old picked up out little Riley and carried him to our van…he had passes away in my ams before we walked in the vet’s door. His little eyes were fixed on mine as I kissed him and told him he would be okay..please hang on.
Riley was a silly and happy little dog. His short life here on earth brought some much joy to all of us. The pain I feel is beyond belief….I have lost a best friend.. I have lost a family member….I have lost a piece of my soul….rest in peace Riley boy
